A Real Cause for Concern?

I recently received the following article from my esteemed colleague and associate Mr. Ian Thomas. This could have serious implications -

The recent earthquake in Japan has knocked the world approx 20mm off its access, as has been widely reported. Also, it appears each day is now marginally shorter.

My thoughts are that the proposal of Prof Loof of the Royal Greenwich Observatory (International Date Institute of Time) to compensate by eliminating leap years will cause havoc. A couple of my clients who build forward logic into their products are appalled.

You may also wish to forward this discussion to any clients that you feel may be affected.

I suspect some sort of lobby group will be set up, both in UK and Internationally, but I'd like to get the general views of those it will affect.

What do you think?
